Transport Links From London Luton Airport

 



Luton Airport is one of London's busiest airport which handles over ten million passengers each year.

Taxi
The black licensed hackney cabs can be found outside the main terminal building. There are a few private taxi companies which operate from the airport by booking in advance and they are Luton taxi, Cabco and Alpha.

Coach and Bus
In the front of the terminal building, you can catch a bus into the city of London and further a field. At bay ten and eleven, passengers can catch the 757 green line into the city. If passengers require to make their way to London Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted Airports and Milton Keynes they can catch a National Express bus which runs frequently through out the day.

Local bus services operate from the airport dropping travellers off at Luton, Dunstable, St Albans and beyond.

Train
The train station of Luton Airport Parkway is around 1 mile from the airport. A shuttle bus can drop passengers off at the station from the airport for their onward journey to Brighton, London and Bedford.

Road
You can reach Luton Airport by several main roads and motorways depending on your departure point. The M25, M1 and A 1 are good travel links connecting the airport to the surrounding main towns and cities.

There are a number of car parks available outside the main terminal building. Short stay, mid term, Priority set down and long term car parks.

Car Hire
There is a free shuttle bus service for passengers wishing to use the car hire firms based at the airport. The main names are Avis, Hertz, Alamo. Europcar operating in the onward travel centre of the airport.
